The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF or the Fund) is a central pillar of the UK government’s ambitious Levelling Up agenda and a significant component of its support for places across the UK.

We want to do this project because it offers a new and meaningful opportunity for young people in Birmingham to gain experience in event promotion and delivery. It builds on our current Simmer Down Occupation programme, which supports young artists, producers and technicians aged 18-25 – many from Global Majority backgrounds who face barriers to entering the cultural sector.
